Megann eberhart family
A graduate of The University of Akron, she participated in Leadership Akron’s Signature program and was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business Magazine as a 40 Under 40 leader.

She has been married to Mike Eberhart for 23 years and is the proud mother of three children – Tyler, Else and Claire.

During her tenure on the Board of Education, she served in leadership for four years, brought financial stability, improved safety, and increased academic achievements.

An experienced leader, Megann Eberhart’s career spans over 20 years for the State of Ohio and regional non-profit’s focusing on economic and community development.  Her service includes working for the Governor’s Regional Economic Development Office, Greater Akron Chamber and Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce.  During her career she worked with the largest to the smallest businesses to create and retain jobs, advocated for resources from city halls to the statehouse and the White House, and improved our quality of life.

In 2011 she was elected to the Barberton Board of Education and currently is finishing her third term.  During her tenure on the Board of Education, she served in leadership for four years, brought financial stability, improved safety, and increased academic achievements. In addition to being an elected official, she has served on numerous commissions, boards, and committees.
